What We Do
SVAA is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization, and the primary Emergency Medical Service for the Town of Simsbury, Connecticut. We've been in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year since 1957.
9-1-1 Emergencies
When you call 9-1-1 for a medical emergency, the Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance Association's skilled EMTs and Paramedics respond to offer on-scene assessment, treatment, and transport to the hospital.
Stand-By Service
SVAA provides on-site medical coverage for large gatherings and special events, like the Talcott Mountain Music Festival.
Training
SVAA offers regular courses to the community, including American Heart Association, and EMT training.
